Senate candidate Angie Nixon is hammering away at GOP incumbent Sen. Ashley Moody, her ties to the Hope Florida scandal, and how Florida can ill afford to have two healthcare “scammers” in the U.S. Senate (a reference to U.S. Sen. Rick Scott’s former stint as CEO of Columbia/HCA. The company ultimately paid $1.7 billion dollars to settle allegations of Medicare and Medicaid fraud. Scott was never charged with a crime.)

The Florida Chapter of the American College of Physicians on Wednesday sent notice to the Department of Health requesting a rule hearing on a proposal to make it easier for parents to opt out of vaccinating their school-aged children.

Attorney General James Uthmeier’s claim that TikTok isn’t complying with the state’s social media ban for minors should be dismissed, the social media giant claims, because the 2024 law is vague and infringes on its First Amendment rights.
